Rating Pulse — Live Feedback Scale
Take the room's temperature on a 1–5 or 1–10 scale in under a minute.
A rating scale answers the question every facilitator asks silently: did that land? Put “how confident do you feel about writing a logframe?” on the screen, give the room a 1–5 scale with your own labels at each end, and you have a number you can act on before the next session, not after the evaluation form.
You can keep the running average visible while people answer, or hide everything until you reveal it. Hidden is the honest setting for feedback about your own session: a visible average pulls later answers towards it, and a room that can see a 4.5 rarely types a 2.
On reveal the room sees the full histogram, not just the mean — which is where the useful conversation is. Two 1s hiding behind an average of 4 is exactly the thing worth asking about, and the CSV keeps the same detail for your report.
