These Terms govern your use of EMPO Academy at academy.empomm.com. By creating an account or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use EMPO Academy. You are responsible for the activity that happens on your account; keep your password safe and let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
Don't share account access, attempt to break the platform, scrape or republish course content, harass other users, or upload illegal material. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Instructors are additionally responsible for the legality and originality of the content they publish.
Course content and intellectual property
Instructors retain ownership of the courses they publish. By publishing, instructors grant EMPO Academy a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, stream, and display the content to enrolled learners and on the marketing surface (course preview, instructor profile, etc.). Learners receive a non-transferable licence to access purchased course content for personal, non-commercial learning.
Payments
Paid courses are payable in Myanmar Kyat through the supported local methods (KBZ Pay, Wave Money, bank transfer). Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable charges. Once your payment is confirmed by our team, your enrollment is active. Coupons and discounts are subject to specific terms shown at checkout.
Refunds
Paid courses are refundable within 7 days subject to the conditions in our Refund Policy. See the Refund policy page for the full rules and how to request a refund.
Instructor earnings and payouts
Approved instructors earn from each enrollment after the platform fee. Earnings clear after the platform's standard hold period and can be requested as payouts to a Myanmar bank account. Detailed terms are shown to instructors during application.
Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from My Profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security or legal risk to the platform. If your account is terminated for cause, you remain liable for outstanding amounts and we may withhold pending payouts.
Disclaimers
Courses are educational materials, not professional advice. EMPO Academy does not guarantee specific learning outcomes or career results. The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by Myanmar law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMPO Academy's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the courts of Yangon.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email to registered users.
