Certificate verification
Every certificate EMPO Academy issues has a unique, publicly verifiable URL. Employers, partners, and anyone holding a printed certificate can confirm authenticity in seconds — no login required.
How to verify
- Open the certificate verification page at academy.empomm.com/verify.
- Enter the certificate number (format
EMPO-A-YYYY-XXXXXXfor an academy certificate orEMPO-T-YYYY-XXXXXXfor a Training & Consultancy certificate). The number is printed at the bottom of the certificate PDF and shown on the share page. - If valid, the page shows: recipient name, course or program title, issuing entity (EMPO Academy or EMPO Training & Consultancy), issue date, and the official PDF link. If revoked, a clear revocation notice is shown instead.
What the verification page proves
- The certificate was issued by EMPO Academy or EMPO Training & Consultancy and not forged.
- The certificate has not been revoked since issuance (revocations are immediate — the verify page reflects them in real time).
- The recipient’s name and the program/course they completed.
QR code on the certificate
Every certificate PDF includes a QR code that links directly to its verification page. Anyone with a printed copy can scan it with a phone camera and land on the verification URL without typing the number.
Revocation
Admins can revoke any certificate (and instructors can revoke certificates for their own academy courses) from the certificate management page. Once revoked:
- The verification page replaces the success state with a clear “Revoked” notice (and the revocation date).
- The certificate PDF link is disabled.
- The recipient is emailed a notice. Revocation is permanent — a new certificate must be issued if needed.
Privacy
The verification page exposes only what an employer needs: recipient name, program/course, issuing entity, and dates. Personal info (email, address, payment history) is never shown. The verification URL is meant to be shared.
